On July 8, 2024, the Geophysics Study Program at Tanjungpura University (Untan) held a coordination meeting with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Untan. This meeting aimed to prepare for the field assessment for the reaccreditation of the Geophysics Study Program by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA), which will be conducted on July 17, 2024. This activity is a crucial step in the reaccreditation process for the Geophysics Study Program, as the previous accreditation period will end in July 2024.
LAMSAMA is an institution authorized to accredit study programs in the fields of natural sciences and formal sciences in Indonesia. The accreditation aims to ensure the quality of education provided by the respective study programs, thereby producing competent graduates who meet national standards. With the successful reaccreditation process, the Geophysics Study Program at Untan can continue to contribute to the development of science and technology in the field of geophysics and produce graduates who are ready to compete at the national and international levels.
