Pontianak, November 9, 2024 – The Geophysics Study Program at UNTAN successfully held a public lecture titled "Introduction to Remote Sensing Technology and Its Applications" on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Theater Room 2, UNTAN Conference Building. The event, attended by around 150 participants, featured Kamirul, S.Si., M.Si., a PhD candidate from the University of Bristol, as the speaker. The lecture covered the fundamentals of remote sensing technology and its applications in environmental mapping, disaster mitigation, land change monitoring, and national security issues. This lecture is part of UNTAN Geophysics Program's regular agenda to bring in geoscience practitioners.
