Lecturer Profile:

Dr. Bintoro Siswo Nugroho, S.Si., M.Si., is a lecturer in the Department of Physics specializing in computational material physics. He completed his undergraduate education at Universitas Gadjah Mada, his master's degrees at Institut Teknologi Bandung and Zernike Institute of Advanced Materials (through a sandwich program), and his Ph.D. at the University of Groningen. Dr. Nugroho's research includes theoretical-computational studies of the optical response of nanohybrid materials, computational analysis of medical images as diagnostic tools, studies of the mechanical properties of materials using molecular dynamics methods, and studies of photocatalyst applications for peat water treatment. These research projects are funded by research grants from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Kemenristekdikti. Dr. Nugroho's research can be found in several accredited national journals and reputable international journals.
